The Japan Fire Fighting Clothes Equipment Association is a nationwide organization of manufacturers and sellers of firefighting clothing and equipment. The group reviews the quality of firefighting clothing and related products to ensure compliance with ISO standards and Firefighting Guidelines. These reviews are carried out by a voluntary management committee consisting of academic experts and firefighting researchers based on test data and other information. Products found compliant are authorized to display this certification mark.

 

What does it mean for gloves to satisfy the 2017 Firefighting Guidelines?

The Firefighting Guidelines, which are issued by by the Fire and Disaster Management Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, provide standards governing firefighting supplies such  as firefighting clothing and gloves based on the ISO 11999 international standard. Our products have received Class A certification under CBK-273 and KC-274. Class A is equivalent to Level 1 as defined by ISO 11999-4, and the performance, functionality, and other characteristics of the products in question comply with EN 659-2003.
